Year 8 CEPA students paid a visit to Penrith and the Cumbrian countryside this month as part of our ‘Picnic At The Stones’ event. Students enjoyed a picnic at ‘Long Meg and her Daughters’ Stone Circle, followed by an outdoor art workshop in which they created felt art banner work. The evening closed with a visit to Mayburgh Henge prehistoric site and ‘King Arthur’s Round Table’ Neolithic Henge. Well done to all the students who took part. Their outdoor art work will be on display at our forthoming ‘Earthworks’ Showcase at The Manchester People’s Museum in June. For more details, contact Mr De Courcey.
